Driveway Sealing questions, answered
How often should I seal my asphalt driveway?
Most driveways benefit from sealing every 2 to 3 years. A new asphalt driveway should cure for 90 to 180 days before its first seal coat.
How long does driveway sealing take to dry?
You can usually walk on it within a few hours, but we recommend keeping vehicles off for 24 to 48 hours for a full cure, depending on weather.
Will sealing fix existing cracks?
We clean and fill cracks before applying sealer to create a smooth, uniform finish. Sealing protects against future damage but isn't a structural repair for severely cracked asphalt.
